Launch of Michael Viney’s Natural World
Since before Michael Viney’s death, aged 90, on 30 May 2023, Vincent Murphy of Artisan Editions, Letterfrack, was busy preparing this beautiful book of Michael’s drawings and paintings, and the anecdotes behind them, for publication. It is a sad but great honour to launch Michael Viney’s Natural World on his home patch of Louisburgh.

Kiltimagh Poetry Trail
My poem, ‘Bóithrín’, was chosen as one of six poems to be carved in limestone and displayed at points around Kiltimagh, Co Mayo. The other poems featured on the Poetry Trail are: Terry McDonagh, Ger Reidy, Seán Lysaght, Colette Nic Aodha and Daragh Byrne, winner of the 2022 Raftery Poetry Competition.
