Geraldine Mitchell will lead a workshop exploring how we may find the courage to write hopefully in these dark times. Taking inspiration and imagery from close observation of the natural world, combined with some inspirational poems by poets of diverse cultural backgrounds, she will encourage participants to find words that are both powerful and positive to write their own poems of hope. The workshop is open to both published and unpublished poets. The only requirement is a fascination with the mystery of language in the service of poetry
